What is a beeswax wrap?

Beeswax wraps are a reusable and sustainable alternative to plastic wrap, like Clingfilm, and single-use plastic or aluminium foil. Made with cotton fabric infused with a mixture of beeswax, tree resin and jojoba plant wax.

Beeswax wrap's main use is food preservation. It is breathable and allows food to stay fresher for longer, reducing food wastage. The wrap is mouldable, grippable, and tacky and can be shaped around containers and food with the warmth of your hands.

After each use, beeswax wrap can be washed and air-dried. A Queen wrap will last at least 1 year with many lasting over two years. They can be refreshed and rewaxed to extend their life. When the wrap loses its grip it can be cut up and composted or cut up and used as fire lighters.

Reusable food wraps are made with a special blend of natural ingredients giving the cloth natural antibacterial properties. A breathable beeswax wrap keeping your food fresher for longer. Our wraps are pine resin free, great if you are allergic to it.

Made with 100% cotton fabric infused with food-grade beeswax, dammar tree resin and jojoaba oil.

Beeswax - antibacterial, waterproof, firms up in the fridge and mouldable with the warmth of your hands.

Damar tree resin - from sustainable farms in Indonesia. It makes the wrap mouldable, sticky, makes the wrap more water resistant. Approved for use in food storage and no known allergies or adverse reactions. 100% pine resin free. Some people are allergic to pine resin/pine rosin/pine gum.

Jojoba plant wax - antibacterial properties and adds to the suppleness of the wrap, stopping the beeswax from cracking.
