NEW Dunfermline Athletic manager James McPake has offered a helping hand to a heartbroken teenager from Tranent who is raising money for an operation to allow her to return to the sport she loves.
Mckenzie Wood, a pupil at Ross High School, signed for Hibernian FC’s U16s National Performance Team in January but had her dreams of becoming a professional player left in tatters when she tore the ACL and MCL in her left knee in a trampoline accident during a PE lesson in March.
